risk assessment- Miss georgiou

The purpose of doing a risk assessment was so that myself and my group would be safe during filming and for no problems would occur. To insure that their were no dangers, and if so they was dealt with we created a risk assessment to know what to do if need be. To avoid these dangers and any hazards we came up with a prevention for each, although we did not have many.

Description of hazard                                                    How to prevent the hazard

Tripod falling over;                                                          Make sure it is on a flat surface at all times,
                                                                                        and carefully balanced.

Dropping the camera ;                                                    Make sure while filing handheld scenes it is strapped over
our fingers, or while not filing placed in the bag correctly
                                                                                        and secure.

Tripping on leads while filing ;                                        Place leads behind out of peoples way, or tape down.

Getting run over ;                                                           Be careful of your surroundings of where your filming.

  1. This post demonstrates some understanding of what a risk assessment is. You have considered the purpose of what a risk assessment is, but further explanation of the hazards that you have included and how you are going to avoid them is needed, to demonstrate further planning techniques.
